The latest SUV by the Hyundai Tucson group named Tucson was launched in 14th November 2016. The ex showroom price in Delhi ranges from Rs. 18.99 lakh to Rs 24.99 lakh and is available in three trim levels: 2WD MT, 2WD At GL, 2WD AT GLS. The SUV launched last year is one of the stylish and well functioning new cars in India launched late in 2016. The exterior of the SUV looks really tough and stylish. The front profile has the hexagonal front grille along with the LED headlamps. There is the wing shaped horizontal bar at the front bumper along with the day time running LED lights. The logo is there right in front. The back end has the LED tail lights. The SUV measures 4475 mm in length, 1850 mm in width and 1660 mm in height. The SUV is available in different colours like Pure White, Sleek Silver, Wine Red, Star Dust, Phantom Black. The interior is impressing and has a touch screen system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto and satellite navigation and voice recognition system. There are three modes of drive: Normal, Sport and Eco. There is enough space and is set in dual tone. It also has the height adjustment seats, electric parking blade, welcome function, auto folding ORVM’s with heated function, compass on ECM, tilt and telescopic steering etc.
The car has 2.0 litre VTVT petrol and 2.0 litre CRDi diesel engine. The petrol engine produces a maximum power of 152 bhp at 6200 rpm along with a peak torque of 192 Nm at 4000 rpm. The diesel engine produces a maximum power of 182 bhp at 4000 rpm and a torque of 400 Nm between 1750 to 2750 rpm. Both the engines have 6 speed manual and automatic transmission. The petrol engine offers mileage 13.03 kmpl and the diesel engine provides mileage of 16.39 kmpl. The safety features are like 6 air bags, ESP with VSM, Hill Start Assist, first in segment downhill brake control, Anti braking system along with electronic braking device. There are the front and rear sensors, reverse parking camera, height adjustable front seat belts, speed sensing door lock etc.
